A Confused Soul....from a friend

i started with some words
then i used the backspace
seems like thats how my life has been going
just a backwards race
so hard to move forward
without looking back
resurrecting my past
knowing what they lack
its not good for me
it feels good for me
friends are here
to up my mood
ante up & cheer
that's why they are there
but should be here
cause they have the ears...
to listen.. listen to my thoughts
thoughs of mass confusion
all twisted and turned in my brain
dont know how to refrain
from what is good && what is bad
no one can tell me. only i can learn
but i am just brushing emotions off like dust
i know how it feels for a heart to burn
i never want a fire like that
so im a do my best to keep my mind straight
and not settle for ex bait
& try a carefree outlook on a life

I am a Social Butterfly

Social Butterfly is a term used to describe people who are extroverted, comfortable in social situations, can talk to just about anyone, and who seem to have a certain grace and ease at parties. Social butterflies in a party setting could move from group to group, briefly sipping in the ‘nectar’ of each engagement and sharing a few pleasant words with partygoers. Their social adeptness makes it simple for the social butterflies to be quite at home in large group settings. They are usually mysterious, and have a certain presence about them that make you want to know more. Bottom line, you either love them or you hate them.

Just as the actual butterfly enhances the lives of flowers, the social butterfly tends to be a positive feature at parties and other social settings. She or sometimes he can start conversations, praise the looks of the other guests, and keep the party atmosphere more interesting. A combination of extroverts and introverts tend to balance social engagements more appropriately. The expression is usually used to describe how individual behaves in social settings, but it can also illustrate characteristics of a person’s life.

Some people seem to be innately extroverted, which is a primary quality of a social butterfly. Generally, you may already know whether you fit social butterfly standards if you’ve had opportunities to take part in social engagements. Do you like to walk about the room talking with various guests, or do you prefer one deep conversation with a kindred spirit? If the answer is yes to the former, you probably are the extroverted social butterfly type.

The term can sometimes be misapplied to people who are obnoxiously social, overbearing, loud, and who make rude comments. They may stomp from guest to guest raucously voicing their opinions; they don’t have a light touch and natural social grace. These are not true social butterflies because they detract from a social scene rather than enhance it.

There are many different types of people in this world, as well as many different types of the same people. Some people can be put into more than one category, as they may fit the criteria of a variety of personas. As far as social butterflies go, they are flexible and can be classified under almost every kind of personality that exists. While they are almost always joyful and positive, at times, they can be despondent and daily situations can overwhelm them. This is not uncommon; you must understand that while it is in their nature to be comfortable around large groups of people, everyone needs time to themselves.

When one is seldom alone, they do not get the time and are rarely able to have a clear head to reflect. They are so used to being around other people that they consume themselves with business that more or less involve them, but may not always be significant. This can be deterring, especially if that individual has many responsibilities that require critical time and attention. At some point one would need to evaluate their priorities and decide when it is necessary to be that community soul and when it is time to withdraw from that lifestyle and take care of home. Only once that is determined will there be room to achieve complete order and happiness.
